A Personal Challenge

When my in-laws unexpectedly moved in with us, my husband and I were thrust into the world of caregiving overnight. As busy professionals, we were suddenly juggling our careers with doctor’s appointments, insurance paperwork, and the daily needs of aging parents. The stress took its toll – I was diagnosed with depression and had to take medical leave.

My another pain point, also a part of my emotional toll, is that my mom and dad live far away in another country and they are aged too. I am the only child and I could not help with the majority of their needs. So I kept concerning about them and it is always a nightmare when I try to find a solution and coordinate the care remotely.

During my recovery, I devoted countless hours to researching senior care solutions. I discovered that our struggles were far from unique. Millions of families face similar challenges, caught between supporting their aging loved ones and maintaining their own lives and careers.

What struck me most was the lack of a comprehensive solution that for seniors to age in place and that could provide independence for seniors while offering peace of mind to their families. I envisioned a platform that could seamlessly integrate all aspects of senior care – from health monitoring to emergency response, from daily tasks assistance to doctor visits.

This vision became my mission. I want to build something that really empowers seniors to live independently while giving their families the assurance that their loved ones are safe, healthy, and thriving. My goal is simple yet profound: to enhance the quality of life for seniors and alleviate the stress on their families. We’re not just building a product; we’re fostering a community where aging is met with dignity, independence, and joy.
